Dragons are great mythological creatures. Whether friendly or vicious, they always make plots more exciting. I love the dragon in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. C. S. Lewis’ plot points of how dragons become dragons is genius. It’s great how much that changed poor, annoying Eustace.
My favorite dragons are the ones in the movie, How to Train Your Dragon. Every time I watch that movie, I want a pet dragon. Nightfury is so cute and remind me of my cat. Except my cat doesn’t breath fire.
I’d have a pet dragon if they existed, but then again, as we learned from Hagrid and Baby Norbert, perhaps dragons aren’t the best pets after all. Maybe I can get a dragon costume for my cat . . .

ReplyDeleteWordsworth is one of my favorite writers...and I love dragons (I'm Welsh and our flag is a green and white background with a huge red dragon taking up the whole flag). How funny that you should put those two together.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for giving me the blogger award. I shall now do my due diligence.

Garbage disposals freak me out, too. I hate when I have to reach in there to get something out. I do love the dragons from How to Train Your Dragon!

ReplyDeleteFun post.
ReplyDeletewhen I was a little girl, I loved reading and writing stories about dragons- I remember coming across a story I wrote when I was about 6 called Molly and the Dragon. Molly was a little girl sitting with this dragon, then the dragon ate her. I think it's stories like this that show it's for the best that I no longer write them!
